I'm off work all this week so Alex and I are just hanging out. Daddy only works 2 days too so we'll be spending some quality time together. Alex's bff stayed for the day with us since his mommy and daddy had to work today. We ended up going to Micky d's for lunch and spent almost 2 hours in playland. When we got back home they wanted to go back to the barn and help Michael with the feeding and such. T can ride a bike no problem without training wheels. Alex is doing very well without them, but on flat ground only. hehehehe. So today he broke out the tricycle that has been hanging out in the shop. It was too muddy for the dirt bike so he opted for the next best thing I guess.

December 28, 2008 Another baby
Flower, not to be outdone had her baby today. He's a very cute little booger. We had been to my aunt and uncles house during the day for a Christmas meal. We don't do gifts or anything, it's just about being together and sharing a meal which is the way it should be. We stopped and picked up a friend of Alex's to spend the night and when we got home Flower had just had her baby. They are being very stingy this year so far both girls have only had 1 baby each. Both of these girls each had twins last year. Oh, well. The babies are healty and Alex is eat up with them. He wanted to name this one Fluffy too. LOL What's up with that?????
December 25, 2008 Christmas day
We got up Christmas morning to the excited sound of Alex running through the house yelling that Santa had been here!! So we drug ourselves out of bed and gathered around the presents taking it all in. Michael stepped outside to check on the goats really quick and much to our surprise Lily was having a Christmas baby. So we had to put the presents on hold and go get her up in the barn. She was just in labor so we weren't sure how long it would be. We headed back to the house and opened up our presents and Michael headed back to the barn to take check on her. He had to end up pulling the baby who Alex also name Fluffy LOL For the rest of the day we just hung out and played with the Wii that Santa had brought for Alex and all the other goodies. He got tons of Star Wars action figures, Magnetix, the much sought after Blendy Pens and much much more. LOL The elusive Transformer body that he has wanted for years has still not been found. ;o) Santa left him a very apologetic letter for not being able to get him the transformer body.
December 17, 2008 The not so small Sasha
This crazy dog is not bigger than Ellie. It's unreal how fast he's grown. I mean we've only had him since August and he was right at 4 mo old when we brought him home. He's showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. His feet are absolutely HUGE!! We had gotten him a blue camo collar and name tag to go along with Ellie's pink collar. He's since lost it and I just can't hardly tell them apart!! He's has turned into the best guard dog you could ask for. Him and Ellie are getting along famously and are keeping the herd safe from the yotes.
December 7, 2008 Alex's "pet"
Again I'm not sure on the day but Alex got this little doggy he calls "Fluffy" at the Holiday Bazaar. It's the cutest little thing. When you push it along it has little feet that are made of what looks like like a tire tube that flips. The day we got it we went on into Louisville and he had to take it everywhere with us. Fluffy even ate in Frisches with us.
November 30, 2008 Ear Candling
I'm not sure when Jo Jo and I originally did this but I know she bought more on the day after Thanksgiving. Her Dr. told her she had a huge ball of "crud" in her ear and recommended that she use ear candles. We had used them before on Alex and they are quite amazing. I still don't completely understand how they work but they just do. The proof is in the end of the burned candle.
November 27, 2008 Happy Turkey Day
I know I know once again I am so far behind on this blog it's not funny and I'm going to finish out the year kinda hopping around. :o) Alex had a pumpkin that he'd decorated for Halloween at school. I bought the small pie pumpkin and told him from the get go it would eventually become a pie. :o) For the entire week leading up to Turkey day Alex had been rushing home from school to hide the pumpkin from me. hehehehehe Too cute huh? So Thanksgiving morning rolled around and guess what? The pumpkin was no where to be found. So after much fussing and fighting he finally brought the pumpkin to me. I mean heck it was going to rot anyway. Might as well enjoy it. Of course our picky son wouldn't even take a bite of the pie, but I assure you it was well worth the sacrifice.
