Terrific Thursday. :o)

Whoohooo it's Thursday. The weekend is almost here. YEAH!! It's been a good week so far for me. Deerhunter's birthday was Tuesday. He has now entered the realm of the 35-44 year olds. hehehe I was filling out a survey the other day and it was asking ages of household members and he is now in that category. He didn't appreciate my ribbing at him too much but he'll get over it. LOL

I am keeping busy with work and seriously not knowing whether I am coming or going in that department. I am being farmed out to help in other counties and whatnot and half of the time I don't know where I am going from day to day. It is good for keeping my mind busy and off of the things that have been dragging me down though.

My new friend that took Sasha has come up with a superbowl plan for us. She doesn't follow the teams either so we each drew a team and whoever has the loosing team has to bake and send the other cookies. I do so love cookies so I am now rooting for Saints to win so I can have some delicious homemade cookies!!!!

Fall Break!!

Whooohoooo. We are leaving in the morning for Cumberland. Can't wait. Aunty Jo is babysitting the guinea pig for us and Mum takes care of the Zig pig. Dad gets the rest of the critters. :o) The Cricut finally made it's way to me today. It took a short vacation of it's own going from Cincinnati to Atlanta when it just needed to stop in KY. WTH???

Anyhoo We are out of here for the rest of the week. Later taters................

Deer Hunters Fox

Here's some pics of Deer Hunters fox that he killed in the back yard. He took it this morning to have it mounted. He thought it was just a red fox but the taxidermist said it was a gray. Either way it's going to be pretty cool mounted. You just never know what kinda critter you'll find in the yard. :o)

Winter Storm 2009

We are so over all this snow and ice. It's just a mess, but very pretty to look at. We finally got the Trailblazer out today and Deer Hunter and I went to Carrollton and picked up some groceries.

Wild Man went shopping with Mom and me and Jo Jo today and is having a sleep over at Granny and Popals house tonight. It's 9:00 and Deer Hunter and I have just eaten dinner.

December 29, 2008 A day out

I'm off work all this week so Alex and I are just hanging out. Daddy only works 2 days too so we'll be spending some quality time together. Alex's bff stayed for the day with us since his mommy and daddy had to work today. We ended up going to Micky d's for lunch and spent almost 2 hours in playland. When we got back home they wanted to go back to the barn and help Michael with the feeding and such. T can ride a bike no problem without training wheels. Alex is doing very well without them, but on flat ground only. hehehehe. So today he broke out the tricycle that has been hanging out in the shop. It was too muddy for the dirt bike so he opted for the next best thing I guess.

December 28, 2008 Another baby

Flower, not to be outdone had her baby today. He's a very cute little booger. We had been to my aunt and uncles house during the day for a Christmas meal. We don't do gifts or anything, it's just about being together and sharing a meal which is the way it should be. We stopped and picked up a friend of Alex's to spend the night and when we got home Flower had just had her baby. They are being very stingy this year so far both girls have only had 1 baby each. Both of these girls each had twins last year. Oh, well. The babies are healty and Alex is eat up with them. He wanted to name this one Fluffy too. LOL What's up with that?????

December 25, 2008 Christmas day

We got up Christmas morning to the excited sound of Alex running through the house yelling that Santa had been here!! So we drug ourselves out of bed and gathered around the presents taking it all in. Michael stepped outside to check on the goats really quick and much to our surprise Lily was having a Christmas baby. So we had to put the presents on hold and go get her up in the barn. She was just in labor so we weren't sure how long it would be. We headed back to the house and opened up our presents and Michael headed back to the barn to take check on her. He had to end up pulling the baby who Alex also name Fluffy LOL For the rest of the day we just hung out and played with the Wii that Santa had brought for Alex and all the other goodies. He got tons of Star Wars action figures, Magnetix, the much sought after Blendy Pens and much much more. LOL The elusive Transformer body that he has wanted for years has still not been found. ;o) Santa left him a very apologetic letter for not being able to get him the transformer body.
